Fabulous Friday

Dear Sisters,

We are excited to announce our next Enrichment activity:

FABULOUS FRIDAY NIGHT

October 16, 2009 from 6-10pm

We will be developing our crafty talents. Some crafts you will have to order and pay for before that night. We will also have others that we would like to have your talents and help completing so that we can donate them to individuals from the angel trees in December.

There will be lots of food + good company = fun!!

We will also be having a follow up activity on November 12, 2009 from 6:30-8:00. We will be finishing any projects that were not completed in October and wrapping the projects completed for the angel tree.

Starting next Sunday, September 6^th we will have a sample of each of the crafts being offered for purchase sitting on a table by the cultural hall/foyer on the east side of the chapel before and after church.

We will have order forms available starting next Sunday September 6^th. All orders and money will be due on September 27, 2009 by 5:00pm to Sister Sandy Allen or Sister Kristine Evans.

Whether you would like to purchase crafts to make or come and participate in making crafts for those we choose to sponsor from the angel trees, or both…

Crafts available for purchase:

Beaded Snowflake Ornaments

Time to make is 15 minutes (depends on how long it takes you to decide what colors to do) These are free. You can make as many as you want, but you may only take two home. We are going to donate all of the extras to the angel trees in December.

Gold-Leaf Picture

Time to make is 15 minutes, Cost is $4.25 for a 5x7 and $7.00 for an 8x10.

You will need to provide your own frame.

There will be different pictures to choose from. See the order form for choices.

Magnetic Recipe Holder

Time to make 15 minutes, Cost = $5-6 (depending on how many people sign up).

You will need to provide your own easel.

Wood Nativity Set

Time to make 20-30 minutes, Cost = $3.

*Limit of two per person*

All supplies to make this will be provided.

Wooden Name Board

Time to make 20-30 minutes, Cost is $1.50 per letter.

There will be three background colors available. All supplies will be provided to make this unless you choose to bring a different color of background paint than we have available

Glass Casserole Pan Etching

Time to make is 15-30 minutes per pan. Cost = $1.50. You will need to bring whatever you are going to etch.
